La Fromagerie Restaurant, Courchevel
Traditional Alpine style restaurant with plenty of cheese in Courchevel
This restaurant offers a friendly welcome and a cosy atmosphere. A crackling log fire, wooden beams, Savoyard mementos and candlelight set the scene as the delicious aromas of local specialities whet the appetite after a good day’s skiing.
A range of local dishes are represented on the menu, made from typical Alpine cheeses such as Tomme de Savoie, Beaufort, Reblochon, and many others. You can try the traditional Fondue Savoyarde or the Tartiflette, as well as less well known dishes such as Matouille (a cheese and potato dish flavoured with white wine), roast Camembert or Tartichèvre (potatoes, onions, diced bacon & goats' cheese).
The house speciality is the Potence Flambée (chunks of beef steak flambéed in whisky), cooked at your table!
