The sunny weather took the day off on Monday and mist lay low across the piste and rain fell very heavily. Luckily the weather is now back to it's sunny self. The forecast is predicted to change this weekend with very light rain in the resort but...

The weather is changing again in Courchevel and a few clouds are appearing but the good weather will be back soon....we hope.

Spring has arrived in Courchevel and the Three Valleys and after almost a week of snow and clouds the sun has come out and the forecast is that it's here to stay.

The lifts are opening a little later into the afternoon now, and conditions are still great!

The snow depth has improved and there's more snow due this week..

There's still plenty of snow, with only a few of the lower runs closed at the moment.

The countdown has begun to the end of the season, however with fresh snow last week, the pistes have had a nice top up and conditions are great for April!

It's a fair bit warmer in Courchevel this week and all of the ski lifts are now open. 

Head out early and stay high to enjoy the groomed pistes and make the most of conditions this week.

We've had lots of snow across the alps in the last week, which is great news for anyone heading to Courchevel between now and the end of the season.

With more fresh snow conditions on piste and off are looking really good!

Plenty of skiing to be had in Courchevel with great on-piste conditions and lots of vin chaud to be drunk!

The sun has made a welcome reappearance this week and the views have been pretty spectacular as you can see in the video.

There are well over a hundred pistes open in the 3 valleys at the moment, which given the last snow fall was in November, is pretty good!

The pistes have been transformed with a few centimetres of snow arriving in Courchevel this week.

Snow is holding out even as low as the pistes in 1550, with spring conditions especially in the afternoons.

It's been a great half term week and the pistes are in great condition.

It's been a bit of a whiteout with rain in lower levels of resort and small snow flurries higher up.

Something a little different in this week's snow report.. as Tim gets some fashion advice from Tom & Jo. But the main news is that we're going to be getting more snow this weekend. Hoorah to that!

We'e got approaching 2 metres of snow in Courchevel at the moment which is due to get topped up this week.

Courchevel is looking great at the moment with some of the best powder I've ever seen. There is so much snow and when the sun came out on Wednesday we made the most of it.

Spring has finally sprung and we have had some great skiing this week with fresh powder and clear skies. Hopefully the sun will stay out over the next few weeks so we can see out the end of the season in style.

The snow is amazing in Courchevel this week, and it's looking gorgeous. Skiing conditions are obviously much improved!

‪#‎SnowReport‬ from the 3 Valleys and Tim's gone all Christmassy on us.. There are currently 175 pistes open across the whole ski area and 124 lifts. Check in daily on the live lift status to see what's open where.

What a great way to start to new year!

Every August for the last few years, Courchevel has played host to the Frappadingue.. it's a slightly bonkers, but a really good fun event.. take a look at the best bits (and costumes) from this year... 

Courchevel's getting a new lift.. in fact there are going to be 2 new ones this winter. Have a look at the engineers at work hoisting in the new lift station for the Aiguille du Fruit.. (try to ignore the bad choice of music.. !)

The new Bouc Blanc six seater chairlift has replaced the old and slow Bouc Blanc draglift in La Tania. At a cost of seven million Euros the new lift is capable of moving 2700 skiers over 1853m at five and a half metres a second.

This just put a huge grin on our faces! OK it's not from this week, it's from the very end of 2014, however if you're dreaming of more snow (as well all are right now) it might just put a smile on your face too! Enjoy...

It's gotten cold but there is plenty more snow coming as a result.

Conditions have definitely turned to spring skiing this week, with a scorcher of a day today in Courchevel.

La Patrouille de France, France's answer to the Red Arrows, painted the skies above Méribel red, white and blue this week in an amazing aerial display.

Caroline is back with the first report from the 3 Vallées where the season is about to begin. Conditions are looking excellent for the opening weekend with over 1m of snow and bright sunshine.

A little bit of snow already fell here in Courchevel last night and there's more snow on the forecast. 

This just in from Alpine Action: "After the big dump of snow on Saturday and Sunday, and the nightmare of transfers, both us and our guests have enjoyed the well needed powder!!! More forecasted to come this weekend too :D"

It's still snowing this morning in Courchevel after an especially snowy weekend.

The pistes are beautifully manicured again after a lot of snow over the weekend. Spring conditions are continuing in the afternoon. 

Conditions on piste are still really good in the higher levels of resort.

Take a look at the kind of conditions you can expect if you come later in the ski season.. not bad eh? When are you coming next?!?

It's a great time to come skiing in the 3 Valleys with lots of pistes and lifts still open with a few weeks to go until the end of the season.

The 3 Valleys links opened up this weekend just gone and there's plenty open to ski.

We've had well over half a metre of snow this week and there's lots more due on the forecast in the early part of next week too.

Not only do we love the tune (not heard it in years) but the edit's pretty good too!

Everywhere in Courchevel is laden with snow, with all the rocks seemingly now covered over. On piste and off piste conditions are the best they've been all season.

With almost 1 metre of snow arriving in the 3 valleys in the last few days, some of the higher parts of the ski area are off limits whilst avalanche blasting takes place.

Take one last look at the cranky old 3 man Aiguille Fruit chair lift.. it won't look like this any more, as it's being replaced by a 6 seater, faster chair. Read more about What's new in the 3 Valleys this winter.

Caroline is back and so is the snow. There's been a huge dump of snow over the last week that has put down over half a meter in Meribel town and over two metres at the top of the Sauliere.
